Katerina Bohac Linares was born in Caracas, Venezuela, she Studied Art at two of the very prestigious Universities in Venezuela, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in art, with a Ceramic Art mention.
She lived in the city of Prague, Czech Republic where she painted and exhibited for 15 years, then she moved to Abu Dhabi where she met again with Ceramic. Katerina does paintings, ceramics, and installations. Ceramics allows her to express her ideas in three dimensions, relief, and color experimentation.
She painted a series of artworks inspired by the Women of the World. She represents archetypal women that inspire us through the strength and value of experiences on this Earth. These women are examples of life and fulfilment. Women who have taken care of their culture and tribes and kept their traditions alive have helped improve humanity in various ways and with multiple contributions.
Currently, she is living and working in the city of Toronto, Canada. She created figurative ceramic sculptures inspired by her connection with inner beings, Mother Earth, and self-knowledge. She shares a studio at St. Clair in the spaces of Akin Projects.
Katerina Exhibited her creations worldwide In Venezuela, the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic, Poland, Spain, Austria, Germany, Italy, UAE, and now In Canada. The jury accepted her to exhibit in TOAF62 at Nathan Square in July 2023. She participates continuously with Arts Etobicoke in different exhibitions and workshops.
She is dedicated to the Art of creating and educating the future Generations. ​
