Life is full of transitions, and music is my way of embracing change. I am stepping into a new chapter as Juárez - El Cantante, a name that represents my evolution as an artist and my journey from Venezuela , to Trinidad and Tobago and now my new home Toronto, ON. Canada.

Juárez, aka #VozMusic, is a Venezuelan-born singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist known for blending the vibrant rhythms of Latin America and the Caribbean. For the past 20 years, he has lived in Trinidad & Tobago, where his music has connected with diverse audiences. With a sound rooted in his cultural heritage, #VozMusic delivers a unique fusion of genres that captivates listeners. Now in Canada, he is excited to share his music with the Latin and Caribbean communities while continuing to grow as an artist.

#VozMusic embodies The Band, soul, passion, and diverse cultural influences of Juárez - El Cantante As a versatile artist he effortlessly blends a wide range of musical genres, from Salsa, Cumbia, Merengue, Bachata, Latin Jazz, Boleros, and Parang to an exciting fusion of Reggaeton, Calypso, Reggae, Old School Soca, and more, creating a vibrant and captivating mix of Latin and Caribbean sounds that appeals to audiences worldwide. Supported by a talented ensemble of musicians or as a Solo Artist Juárez brings an unmatched energy to his live performances, always delivering an unforgettable experience. Beyond his Latin and Caribbean roots, with also an extensive repertoire of English-language songs (some as Latin Fusion) spanning genres showcasing the full range of his vocal versatility. This combination of cultural richness and musical flexibility ensures that every listener, no matter their preference, can enjoy the dynamic power of his voice. With over a decade of experience in the music industry, Juarez, known as #VozMusic, has established himself as a prominent figure in both the Latin and Parang music scenes in Trinidad and Tobago.

In 2017, Juárez, backed by his Band #VozMusic, began his solo career with a cover of "Historia de un Amor" In 2018 Juarez further expanded his artistry by recording two tracks, “De Cigarro en Cigarro” and “No Te Vas,” in Peru. In 2019 his debut original single, "No Puedo Evitarlo" (I Can't Avoid It) was released, a Bachata that fused Latin and Caribbean musicianship.

In 2018 he attended the Cuban Jazz Festival in Havana, drawing inspiration from the country's rich musical culture.

Throughout his career, he has consistently expanded his musical repertoire with singles like “No Te Vas”, “Sombra en Los Médanos” (Waltz instrumental), “Mi Negrito”, and “El Perdón” (Version Salsa), each reflecting his versatility and passion for blending Latin and Caribbean sounds. His unique approach has captivated audiences across diverse genres, from Bachata and Salsa to Reggaeton and instrumental pieces.

His 2020 Bachata hit “Noviembre Sin Ti”, featuring Trinidad & Tobago’s versatile vocalist Tricia Lee Kelshal, solidified his standing in the local music scene in Trinidad & Tobago. In 2023, “Quiero Ser Tu Sombra” and "La Partida" (another Waltz instrumental), further showcasing his artistic evolution and emotional depth. A standout performer, his Band #VozMusic won 1st place in the National Parang Association of Trinidad & Tobago Instrumental Showdown for 2021 and 2022, and as a Soloist taking top honors in the Venezuelan Cuatro category ( 1st place) and securing 3rd place in Mandolin in 2021.

Having built a successful career in Trinidad and Tobago, Juárez has now migrated to Canada and is eager to connect with the vibrant Latin community. He looks forward to collaborating with Latin-Canadian artists, forming his Band #VozMusic and sharing his diverse musical fusion with new audiences. With a focus on passion, authenticity, and genre-blending innovation, Juarez is poised to make an enduring impact on the Canadian music scene and beyond, leaving a lasting imprint on music lovers worldwide.
