Born and raised in San Salvador, El Salvador, CA. Juan emigrated to Canada in 1991 leaving a Civil War behind. Juan has a Fine Arts Honour degree and an After Degree Bachelor of Education, both from the University of Manitoba. Juan lives and works in Kitchener, Ontario.
