Jennifer Cortez proudly represents her Hispanic culture, Ecuadorian background, born and raised in Toronto, Canada. Jennifer is a creative and business professional working in art direction and graphic design for over 19 years. Jennifer is formally educated in Fashion Business and has a Master of Arts Degree in Higher Education, Administration and Leadership from Royal Roads University.

Moreover, Jennifer is a Professor at Humber College for the Faculty of Business and the Faculty of Media and Creative Arts. Jennifer Cortez is also an independent singer and songwriter known by the artist’s name, The Prof. The Prof’s music is heavily influenced by tropical, Latin and Caribbean rhythms, referred to as a “Tropic-eclectic” genre. Some of Jennifer’s “The Prof’s” original singles include “About That” produced and recorded by award winner, Medylandia, “Out of Office”, “Hypnotic Dance” and her latest is “Luna” available on all major digital platforms.
