His first experience on stage dates back to his teenage years, when he portrayed Pontius Pilate in the musical Jesus Christ Superstar. For the past ten years, he has been an active participant in theatre projects led by Alex Montealegre, initially through the Canadian Latin American Experimental Theatre (CLET), where he gained recognition for his recurring role as Sergio in the beloved play Waiting for the Hearse (Esperando la Carroza).

In recent years, Guillermo has become a key member of Mississauga Players, performing in annual theatre festivals in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. His most notable works some of them —written, directed, and performed by him—include:
• Karetas (2022)
• Adam and Eve (2023)
• Life Lessons (2024)
• The Photograph (2025)

These plays reflect Guillermo’s commitment to socially conscious theatre that invites reflection and connection.

He expresses deep gratitude to Mississauga Players for providing him with a platform to share his voice and creativity, and he looks forward to continuing his journey with the group that has nurtured his artistic growth and personal expression.
