Descortés is a soloist musical project where wordplays are the protagonists, and language mixing becomes a key expressive tool. With lyrics full of hidden meanings, wordplays and cultural references, each song invites listeners to uncover multiple layers of interpretation.

The sound (in live performances) is built through live instrumentation with a loop pedal, combining guitar, electric piano, percussion and voice.

Descortés also competes in rap battle tournaments (in Spanish); he has battled and performed in Mexico, London, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.

Descortés was chosen for the "I am London" campaign 2024 by the London & Middlesex Local Immigration Partnership, nominee for the 9th Latin Awards (Alternative category) and nominee by the London Music Forest City Music Awards (Latin Category) and Interviewed by Jennifer Martino in Rogers TV last November.

This 2025, Descortés will have presentations in Museums, in Toronto hiphop concerts and in a WIL employments Solutions event dedicated to immigrants with a successful story in London.
