Celebrating Hispanic / Latin American Heritage Month: Latin Art Show at Pazan Gallery

Mississauga, ON – October 1–15, 2025 – In celebration of Hispanic / Latin American Heritage Month and Pazan Gallery 15th Anniversary, the Hispanic Canadian Arts and Cultural Association in partnership with Pazan Gallery proudly presents a vibrant Latin art exhibition featuring the work of Melina Cossío  and Marcelo Pazan.

Featured Artists
Melina Cossío
Distinguished Latin American artist whose narrative-driven oil paintings explore themes of resilience, memory, and identity. Through bold color, textured surfaces, and layered glazing techniques, she invites viewers into intimate visual stories that bridge personal experience with collective memory.

Her cityscapes reflect the perspective of a foreigner navigating a distant land, capturing fleeting moments that resonate with emotional familiarity. Rooted in her Latin heritage, Melina seeks meaning in the everyday, transforming unfamiliar environments into spaces of connection and reflection.

Marcelo Leonardo Pazán
Ecuadorian Canadian visual artist Marcelo Pazán returns to his creative roots with a new collection of photography, traditional life-drawing, and acrylic paintings. Framing himself as part of his artistic legacy, Marcelo has honed his craft since age 4 and mastered custom picture framing since 1997—an art form he believes takes a lifetime to perfect.
