Carlos Rivas is a Peruvian-born dancer, choreographer, and music publicist based in Montreal, specializing in Latin and World Music. From a young age, he has led projects integrating Latin-American popular music and dance with global artforms, from a fresh, elegant, and contemporary vision. Dancing for more than 15 years now, he has produced choreographic video productions and activations in Canada and Latin America, alongside other dancers and musicians. ​

Beyond learning from one-of-a-kind artist mentors in South America and Spain, Carlos graduated Valedictorian from the University of Ottawa Faculty of Arts in 2022. Bringing a background in Latin dance, Ballroom, Tap dance, Flamenco, and Peruvian coastal dances, he is currently dedicated to teaching, choreographing, and promoting Latin music concerts and artists in Canada and beyond.
