Alexis Martinez began his musical career at the age of 15 as a guitarist in a rock band, it is not until 4 years later that he meets his singing teacher: Pastora More who had him under her tutelage for 5 years teaching vocal technique classes at Music Conservatory. Since then, Alexis has dedicated himself to professional singing, performing in numerous scenarios. After recording several albums and having a successful career in his country, Alexis decides to move to Canada where he continues his musical career.

Alexis is recognized as one of the most versatile artists in Ontario due to his high vocal range and ability to sing various genres. He has shared the stage with music icons such as Liberty Silver, Canadian Idol finalist Michelle Madeira among others.
Alexis is a member of the Latin Recording Academy of the Latin Grammy and the JUNO Awards Canada. Winner for two consecutive years as Best Male Singer of the Year at the prestigious Latin Awards Canada, recognition that makes him one of the most special Latin voices in the country. 

In 2022, Alexis received the Latin Excellence Award from the federal government of Canada. In 2023 he was chosen to serve as a Judge at the JUNOS AWARDS.
In February 2024, Alexis won in the “Best Tropical Song” Category with the song he wrote “Tu Partida” at the Hollywood World Entertainment Awards in Los Angeles. He was also selected to sing on stage at this great event where American music stars including Grammy winners performed. Winner of the 2024 Latino de Oro Awards in Spain with the duo along with the well-known Bolivian Artist Rosario Arce with their song “Para Decir Adiós”. In 2024, it has received multiple Nominations for several important Awards in Canada. In 2025, Alexis takes home the Hollywood World Entertainment Award for Best Duo, performing with Spanish singer Amanda Luz for their song "Siempre." Produced by Ire Music, this track highlights the talents of both artists, elevating their ranges to remarkable levels.​
